The yearly event of Foxley Open Gardens Day is being planned for Sunday 8th June 2003.  By now, after three successful years, I would think everyone in Foxley and Bawdeswell is well acquainted with this occasion, and so I feel very little explanation and description is necessary.  But is everyone happy with the format?  Could it be improved?  In previous years the Committee has sent out a questionnaire asking pertinent questions, and then analysing your feedback; and from those answers the Committee feel that they are now on pretty safe ground with such things as the chosen charities, time of the year, and the sundry diversions.  Never-the-less, there may be reservations,  some slight dissatisfaction with a part of what is on offer; on the other hand there may be some ideas, suggestions, of how the day could be improved.  It is these opinions we would like to hear from you.  Anything you tell us will be thoughtfully considered.  
Incidentally, as something extra for this coming event, a couple of committee members will be walking around Foxley on the day, and the front garden that catches their eye will get a prize.  Beautiful gardens may be the farthest thing from your mind at the moment with winter cloaking us, but it is always amazing how quickly June comes around every year!     D.B.
