Reepham & District Rotary Club

At a recent meeting it was decided to support the Cawston Table Tennis Club and donate ?300 so they could buy a new table.  Cawston has a thriving club and a good deal of time is given by those people who run it to coach youngsters in a sporting skill.  Members of Reepham Rotary think it very important to support the youngsters within their area and were very happy to assist Cawston Table Tennis Club.  The table is being presented to the
Club on 25th February by Rotarians Ivan Tubby and Stephen Callow.  Ray Gale's rather nice comment was that the Club had made a lot of youngsters very happy and given a facility which would benefit so many.

We are holding a second Old Time Music Hall at Reepham High School on Saturday, 29th March.  The same team are coming up from Sussex who entertained us last year and were so successful.  Organization is going well and Rotarians are going to risk singing another couple of barber shop songs but don't let that put you off!  Please support the event.  Tickets are available from Rotarian John Tym who can be contacted on 01362 688281.

At last week's meeting Club Chairman, Cliffie Harmer, presented new member Coen Van Beuningen with his members badge.  Coen is an organic farmer from Bintree and has already volunteered to sing at the Old Time Music Hall, possibly in his native Dutch!

Julian  Meetings are groups of people who meet regularly in order to grow in the practice of contemplative prayer in the Christian tradition.  Julian Meetings welcome people of all denominations, or none.  More information from Irene Ames.
