  ALL SAINTS CHURCH BAWDESWELL

Harvest Festival & Family Baptism
Many thanks to all who decorated the church so beautifully for the Harvest Festival on 28th September and for the produce that was donated.
We were very pleased to include a Baptism,  and all welcomed 6 month old Cameron  Valentine Brown  into the family of the church.  He was very good indeed throughout the service and rewarded some of us with smiles.
There were about 44 people at the service which was taken our Rector the Revd David Head.
Afterwards we had coffee and apple scones and a chance to mingle.

The harvest produce was taken to Folland Court lounge as a gift to the residents and visiting senior citizens.  A notice was placed in the post office. A thank-you card was received and will passed on to the PCC.

Words & Praise Service
Our thanks to Sue Lilwall and son James who led the October Words & Praise evening service.  Each time a different family  or individual takes this short service, it is something special and something slightly different.

The Revd Tom Candeland’s  Sabbatical will be from November to January, inclusive. Though he may be in evidence, please respect that he is officially off duty.
