THE
FRIENDS OF BAWDESWELL SCHOOL
There are loads of exciting
and interesting ideas planned for the new academic year in September. Aimed
both at the pupils currently attending Bawdeswell and for future pupils.
So the fundraising calendar
of events opens almost immediately on Saturday 25th September with a Quiz
and Chips Supper. It will be aimed at all age groups, teams and individuals
(depending on how brainy you are feeling), families are encouraged, and
in fact a broad spectrum of ages would be advantageous.
It is also hoped that teams
from other organisations within the village will come along and take part
to create a bit of friendly but competitive rivalry.
Tickets will be £4:00,
to cover the cost of the fish and chips, and on sale from the beginning
of next term. There will also be a licensed bar. So get your thinking heads
on and polish up your general knowledge, for the Brains of Bawdeswell title
in the Village Hall.
Remember
School restarts 2nd Sept.
