SEEKERS CLUB
Our April meeting was a re-enactment of the Passover meal, the children made the unleavened bread. While this cooked we played games and a game of beetle drive. Then it was time to eat the Passover meal; the table was laid with many different bitter herbs, sweet food and “wine” to drink. The story told as to why we were having a Passover meal, prayers said before each food thanking God for the safe deliverance of the Jews from Egypt.
Our June meeting is at Sparham Old School on the 19th.  This will be our last one till September.
Plans are going well for our Summer Club July 26th -30th at Sparham Old School Room. We are planning a day out on the Thursday.  Margaret Keeler 01603 872565.

FAMILY SERVICE AT SPARHAM
This service’s theme was Christian Aid. We heard how people's lives have been changed with the help of all the money that is collected each year. The work never stops, there is always help needed somewhere in the world.
Mrs G. Page gave a talk on the things we will not need in heaven - like no more crying,  so we will not need tissues etc.  These were put in a dustbin, then everything was taken out again, because till we do go to heaven we still need these things and so do the needy people of the world.  Refreshments were served after the service.
Next Family Service June 6th
