BAWDESWELL PARISH COUNCIL- EXTRACTS OF MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 4TH NOVEMBER  2002 at 7.30pm. IN  THE VILLAGE HALL
PRESENT:    Councillors Battley(Chairman)Clarke,Farthing, Lilwall and Smith

MINUTES OF LAST MEETING:   Agreed and signed
MATTERS ARISING: 
- Letter sent to Chief Constable with registration numbers of vehicles causing problems in The Street - no reply to date.
- Letter sent to Charity Commissioner asking for copy of original document of registration - no reply to date.   PC unable to discuss responsibility for Village Hall.
PLANNING:
- The Paddocks, Reepham Road - variation of conditions.    NO OBJECTIONS
providing conditions 8 & 13 still apply - ...... shall not be used for any commercial riding, breeding or training purposes.
- Church View, The Street - new staircase and provision of new conservation rooflight.   NO OBJECTIONS.  (Councillor Lilwall declared an interest and did not take part in vote).
- The Old Workhouse - nothing further heard from Planning.   Clerk to write to Environmental Health confirming that complaints had been received from Parishioners about the level of noise/car parking etc.
SPEED LIMITS:   NCC letter proposing to make two Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act that 30mph limit be continued from School to A1067 near Floranova and the 50mph limit extended along A1067 Fakenham Road past  Laundry Cottage
NORFOLK STRUCTURE PLAN received - to be circulated. 
MOBILE POLICE STATION - Clerk checked why Bawdeswell is not on current list and was informed that this was because there had been no interest from Parishioners.   It will continue to visit Foxley on 21st November and 19th December.   PC Christopher Howes has been appointed as an additional officer on the vehicle and says he is willing to visit anyone who has a problem on those dates if Parishioners phone either Dereham Police Station or let Clerk know .
ANNUAL AUDIT for year ended 31 March 2002 is now completed - no problems have arisen.
Clerk has spoken to owner of car parked on grass verge at corner of Norwich Road/Hall Road obstructing the view of traffic coming out of estate- hopefully this will not occur again.

DATE OF NEXT MEETING IS MONDAY 2ND DECEMBER AT 7.30 PM. IN THE VILLAGE HALL.    THIS WILL BE OUR ANNUAL PRECEPT MEETING AND ALL PARISHIONERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
