On 4th November we welcomed David Abbott into school to speak to the children about his recent work in Japan. As always the children were thrilled with his talk.

On 4th & 5th November staff welcomed Parent/Carers into school for interviews about their child’s progress. The staff at Bawdeswell strongly believes in partnership with parents/carers. Parent/carers also had the chance to look at the children’s work on display within the school on 19th November at the Governors AGM and open evening.

A representative of the Royal British Legion came in for a special assembly on 7th November to talk to the children about the significance of 11th November.

Class 3 & 4 combined to do a wonderful assembly recently. Class 3 with their shadow puppets and Class 4 with their home made musical instruments.

On 19th November Class 4 went to the “Shakespeare 4 kids” production at the Theatre Royal in Norwich to see Midsummer Night Dream.

On the last day of school there will be a carol service in the church to start at 1.30pm. All welcome.
School closes at 3.15* on Friday 20th December and re-opens at 9am on Monday 6th January 03.  *Parents attending the carol service may take their child/children home from the church once the child’s teacher has been informed.
