FOXLEY PARISH COUNCIL
EXTRACTS FROM THE MEETING ON THURSDAY 
18 SEPTEMBER 2003 AT 7.30 IN THE VILLAGE HALL.

Present were Mr  Harvey (Chairman), Mr  Mears (Vice Chairman),Mrs  Waller, Mrs Slattery, Mr  Bambridge( DC),  6  parishioners.
The Chairman introduced and welcomed the new Clerk, Mrs Meg White .
The minutes of the last meeting were accepted and signed .
Matters arising:  20mph repeater sign has again been requested from Highways Engineer. 
 Clerk will contact Mr Walton to see if he has been contact by N CC re his son's bus.
Correspondence: Letter was received from Police explaining their inability to do more visits.
Dereham Area Partnership advertised their AGM, new funding opportunities and a plea for a parish member from Foxley.
More funding opportunities from NRCC - 
AGM and meetings from NCAPTC plus information about training courses. The Vice Chairman and the clerk will attend in November.
Letter from approx 30 young people asking for a suitable area to play. An advertisement would be placed in The Reeves Tale for a piece of land to be lent, leased or sold for this purpose.
Planning Applications:  Peran Wisa . A strong letter has been sent to BC re the discrepancies in the actual building compared to the original plans.
Finance: The financial report was approved. 
Appraisal:  It is now important to get everyone together to discuss what happens next. An invitation would need to be sent to everyone exhorting them to come.  It was decided to leave the meeting until the new year when further alterations to the Hall will be complete.
Sewage: The result of the questionnaires (33/62 returned)  will be forwarded to AWA to be included in their report which will form the basis of their discussion of whether or not to go ahead with the West Foxley Plan. However this would not be until after 2005.
There is no information regarding the scheme for East Foxley. Clerk to make more enquiries.
Bus Shelter: It was  agreed to apply for grants for a new shelter.
Dog bins: Two sites were chosen after much deliberation. Funding would be sought.

Date of the next meeting
The date will be Wednesday 3 December 2003 at 7.30 in the village Hall.
