NOTICE BOARD

Bawdeswell Garage
Due to the high volume of work and an unfilled  staff vacancy, we very much regret that for the present we are unable to down tools and respond to urgent requests for immediate help.
Until we fill the vacancy, it may not be possible to book your car in for a few days and our response to requests for roadside recovery may be negative.  Please bear with us.  We are doing all we can to recruit someone.

BROADBAND COMING TO BAWDESWELL EXCHANGE
According to the Dereham & Fakenham Times, Bawdeswell exchange will have Broadband by  03.11.04   Well done all who joined the campaign!
It is good news for local businesses who need the higher speed of data flow to keep up with their competitors elsewhere; and also good news for everyone else, enabling us to keep up with the rest of the world. We will benefit from much faster connection to the Internet and the ability to view moving pictures and, in time, complete television programmes from all over the world.  In the next decade the aerial on our roof could be a relic of the past.  You can already buy Internet radios.  The idea of a radio with a telephone socket instead of an aerial socket takes some getting used to!

THE REEVE’S TALE  takes a break in August every year.  Thank you all who contribute to it in any way and those of you who give of your time delivering it
