THE FRIENDS OF BAWDESWELL SCHOOL

Welcome Back

Didn’t summer come to a rather abrupt and sudden end, anyway we hope that you had a good holiday. There are loads of exciting and interesting ideas planned for this academic year. Aimed both at the pupils currently attending Bawdeswell and for future pupils. All encouraging the children to take full advantage of the fantastic grounds and building that they proudly call their school.
The fundraising calendar of events continues in order that these plans and ideas are brought to fruition. There is hopefully something for everyone, and as you know your support is always appreciated. All events will be published well in advance, through this page, our web site and the school newsletter. So watch this space.

The 100 club is the most continually successful fundraiser currently in operation.
On the 1st of every month three numbers are taken from the last six digits of the winning million premium bond number, the members owning those numbers are our winners. The values of the prizes are proportionate to the number of members there are at the time of the draw.
For a small subscription of £12 per annum you to could be one of our lucky winners. A great gift idea for friends and family.
Remember only if all 100 numbers are subscribed to will you have the opportunity of winning the maximum cash prizes. So hurry has your subscription lapsed or do you need a last minute present.

Welcome back to everyone, We hope you all had a good holiday!
Welcome to all the new children starting this term, we are sure you will all be happy here at Bawdeswell School.

Changes in Staff   There has been a change in staff and staff hours this year.  Mr Kerkham will be working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays and Mrs Jones has been appointed to teach Thursday and Fridays in Class 3.  Mrs Hallam has reduced her hours of work and will be in Class 4 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.   Mrs Horner will be teaching Class 4 on Thursday and Fridays.

Parent Governor Elections    We welcome Sara Allen and Dave Roberts  to the School Governors.
